I’m really excited about the latest idea home to go live on our site. Like our 10 others, it’s brimming with great design inspiration for your next kitchen or bath remodel or–lucky you–your new dream home.
This one is particularly special because it does such a great job of showing how a home can work well for people in all of life’s stages, and stylishly at that.
Cynthia Leibrock, an expert in universal design, built in dozens of features throughout that will continue to make life easier and healthier for herself and husband Frank as the years go by. Lights on the stairs, movable bathroom walls, easy-to-maneuver faucets and even an indoor greenhouse–Cynthia has truly thought of everything.
But don’t take it from me–explore the home and hear from Cynthia herself via our video.
What do you think of the home? Got any aging-in-place ideas of your own? Comments welcome!

Looking for a bath tub easy to get in with a drop side, but not a walk in.
Hey David–this is Mark Thiel at Kohler. We have been hearing a lot of requests for this type of product lately. Although we do not currently offer a tub with a drop-side entry, we will pass your interest on to our designers. If you would like, we will be happy to contact you if a product like this becomes available. Thanks for the request and insight into what people are looking for in the bathroom!
