The annual WIRED pop-up store kicked off last night with an energetic party full of grape-themed cocktails, nineties hip-hop (thanks to @questlove), and a hands-on buffet of the latest gadgets and geek toys around.

This year’s Kohler booth is all about music. You can sit back and relax in our VibrAcoustic bath, where perfectly-placed speakers built into the tub actually vibrate and surround you with sound.

If you’re more of a shower person, stop in our Moxie shower, where you can stream your favorite songs through the new Moxie showerhead. And don’t forget to take your picture (the shower doubles as a photo booth).

Perhaps the most eye-catching display this year is the LEGO sculpture from artist Nathan Sawaya.

Then again, these Stratton skull 5-stringed electric violins are a close contender.

Perfect for the mod music-lover, these Stellé audio clutches blend form and function with fashionable ease.

As is this Runnur carry-all, modeled by designer Andrew Hamra (think fanny pack, refined and edited for modern day).

A big thanks to WIRED for the wonderful night. If you’re in NYC, be sure and stop by the WIRED Store at 583 Broadyway. Hurry, it closes at the end of the year!
